Sounds of salvation are a 10-piece Christian ska/rock
worship band from southern England. Specialising in musical outreach and
youth ministry, SoS play an eclectic mix of contemporary worship songs, "ska'd
up" hymns, and some powerful original material.
The band have been playing together since 2005 and have had the priveledge
of participating and serving at an enourmous variety of events during that
time. Previous engagements have involved everything from small church
services and youth events to national conferences and Christian gatherings
including regular invitations to events such as Greenbelt Festival and MAYC
Breakout.
February 2007 saw the release of Sounds of Salvation's debut album, entitled
Like It Is. The band are currently hard at work on a second album which will
hopefully be released sometime mid-2008.
